Beaches to Visit in Niagara This Summer
Crystal Beach / Bay Beach — Fort Erie
One of Niagara’s most popular summer beach spots, known for its soft sand, clear Lake Erie water and fun beach-town feel. A great option for a full beach day, lunch nearby and a sunset walk. Bay Beach is located at 4155 Erie Road in Fort Erie.
Nickel Beach — Port Colborne
A classic Niagara summer beach with sandy shoreline, swimming, sunbathing, picnic areas, washrooms and volleyball courts. It’s also a popular spot for windsurfing and beach days on Lake Erie.
Long Beach Conservation Area — Wainfleet
Perfect for a beach day or weekend getaway, Long Beach offers sandy shoreline, day-use access and camping. It’s a great spot if you’re looking for more of a relaxed, outdoorsy summer day.
Lakeside Park Beach — Port Dalhousie, St. Catharines
A beautiful Lake Ontario beach with views of the Port Dalhousie harbour and lighthouse. This is a great option if you want to pair a beach visit with a walk through Port Dalhousie, ice cream or a ride on the historic carousel.
Sunset Beach — St. Catharines
A local favourite with a long sandy beach, picnic areas, playground, washrooms and beautiful Lake Ontario views. As the name suggests, it’s also a great spot to catch the sunset.
Queen’s Royal Beach — Niagara-on-the-Lake
A smaller beach located at the foot of King Street in Niagara-on-the-Lake. It’s the only public swimming beach on the Niagara River and offers a beautiful view across the water toward Fort Niagara.
Charles Daley Park Beach — Lincoln / Jordan
A peaceful waterfront park along Lake Ontario with beach areas, green space and picnic spots. This is a nice option for a quieter afternoon by the water.

Before heading out, be sure to check current beach conditions and water quality. Niagara Region tests public beaches between Victoria Day and Labour Day, and conditions can change after heavy rain, strong winds or high waves.
Trius Sparkling Presents: Movie Night in the Vineyard
A wine country version of a night at the drive in. With a glass of Trius wine in hand, enjoy a classic film favourite under a blanket of stars and surrounded by our idyllic vineyard. Gates open at 8:00 PM and your movie begins at dusk. Tickets include your seat along with one glass of wine in a souvenir glass. Concession style snacks such as chips, chocolate and popcorn will be available for purchase on-site. We ask that you refrain from bringing outside food items.

Q: Is parking available at Pelham Summerfest?
A: Yes, there is parking. However, parking is quite limited in downtown Fonthill and we recommend that you car pool, walk or use the free shuttles! Please visit Parking and Shuttles for festival parking and shuttle details. Pro tip: ride your bike and feel like a VIP as you zip past everyone else and check in at the free bike valet!
